My name is Adam Gelinas and I love to take pictures of nature and my niece Hannah. Aside from the adorableness of Hannah I hate to have people in my pictures. If I come across a scene I want to capture but there's people I'll often wait for everyone to leave or try to find an angle that hides them behind trees or rocks. I shoot most of my pictures while hiking. I'm rather critical of my own work, but my family and friends encouraged me to put up a site. I've been know to take hundreds of pictures and only keep a few. I haven't had any real schooling, nor have I read any books. I learn by taking a lot of photos with various angles and exposures. I then spend hours looking at them and picking out what I like by asking "What makes this one special?" Here you'll find my favorite photos. I hope you like them.
